Please explain the issue you experienced in the most condensed way possible
One of the events involves a character trying to talk up his wife's virtues to another character. Sometimes, this event chooses the player character to be both the ROOT and the target of the event.

Please explain how to reproduce the issue
Trigger the event in the screenshot. Sometimes, it chooses the same person as both ROOT and target.

Is there anything else you think could help us identify/replicate the issue?

This is troubling behaviour indeed. It seems the king has fallen into some form of sickness, thankfully it is of the sanguine type. For now I recommend focusing on the positive effects of this illness. Opinions of his spouse are greatly improved and should remain the focus until an antidote can be formulated by the royal physickers. We shall work tirelessly in order to aid the king in this time of weakness!
