Short summary of your issue
Monk in Warrior priest culture is incapable of being recruited as knight

Game Version
1.5.0.1

What OS are you playing on?
Windows

What platform are you using?
Steam

What DLC do you have installed?
All

Do you have mods enabled?
Yes

Have you tried verifying your game files (Steam only)?
Yes

How much "pain" is this causing you?
8

Please explain the issue you experienced in the most condensed way possible
Brother is monk but was not receiving buffs from Warrior Priest cultural benefit. Removed disinheritance and Brother subsequently gained Monk bonus to prowess but is still not eligible to become a knight.

Please explain how to reproduce the issue
Attempt to Disinherit sibling. If no prowess bonus is yielded from Monk/Theological education, issue is replicated. Bonus points if you're unable to recruit him as a knight.

Is there anything else you think could help us identify/replicate the issue?
I'm about to make a couple of my sons monks and see if they're eligible to knighthood but I believe this issue may be isolated to characters disinherited prior to cloistering. Will update subsequently.

I have attached a save game
Yes

To elaborate a bit more -- The character I cannot make into my knight is my younger male sibling Demman Mac Taileflaith. The other younger brother is a sinful son of a gun, so I'm unable to try to duplicate the issue with this, and this is the game I tried to get achievements with, so it's in Ironman.

Last thing I forgot to mention: the only mod I'm running is the Burgundy theme mod, which makes all of the user interface Red.

Update: None of my sons who took their vows (disinherited or no) are able to become knights.

Going to up the *pain* from a 2 to a 8, a great deal of the theme I had around this campaign was having my sons and daughters become monks and nuns, respectively, and not being able to make them knights completely invalidates that.
