Please explain the issue you experienced in the most condensed way possible
I was waging a lot of holy wars but also earning piety and then piety starting going more and more negative. Maybe the bug started when a level of devotion was earned.

Please explain how to reproduce the issue
No idea. Probably a bit error in how the data is stored.
Game is in Ironman.

Is there anything else you think could help us identify/replicate the issue?

I noticed that I was loosing piety when I hired the holy order to which I am the patron. It says “No Cost” but still I lost piety. And the holy order was not currently hired by someone else at the time. Wonder if that’s what’s happening to you too?

Thank you for the report! lasimspon62 is correct, you lose Piety despite being the Patron of your Holy Order. I've added the issue to our database.
