When you rename a child, the event refers to them by your name rather than theirs.

I noticed this as well. However, it appears to only be an issue with the text shown here. When I went through with the renaming, it correctly renamed the child and not me.

Definitely. It's a minor bug, bit still something the devs should be aware of.
