Thanks a lot. I will check it out! :)

EDIT: Those links were either dead, or kept no information at all. But I take it that there will be a mac-version to expect?

In that case, any idea at all when this is to expect?

(Sorry about asking, I read that this forum was for the PC-version only, and that you guys merely had anything at all to do with an eventual macintosh version, but still - I would like to know, since it seems like a great game. And I suppose it is to big (with real-time engine and such) to play in any of the PC-emulators you can ge nowadays...)

Thanks.

Most games, as far as I'm aware, never become available for Mac... if you're into games, rather than just word processing or business, you're probably stuck with having to get a PC.

Well since they have made ports of the other Paradox games I would say there is a good chance they would do CK port as well.
However it is important to say that I do NOT speak for Paradox in saying that!
I have NO first hand knowledge that such a port is in the works or planned or being negoitated for.

Same here; it's just my experience that *maybe* 10-15% of all games even have a Mac version, and when they do they are often buggy and very difficult to find in stores.

And notice that there's (so far) only one Paradox game that does.... (right?)

No all Paradox games have been ported EU2,Victoria, and HOI.

Hehe. Well, I'll never get a PC. No game in the world is worth that. :)

But I am aware of the problem - a lot of the games on the market is never ported to the Mac. It is of course a shame, but I hope that will change in the future.

Anyway, I will look into if there will be a possible Mac-version, I have checked around a bit but it seems like no one knows, really. Not vpltd themselves, it seems. I suppose we will find out.

If you find any news keep us posted here.

EUII was ported to Mac but it costs $30 and is live ver. 1.05 or something...no AGCEEP or any of the good stuff you get with the PC version. I love my Mac, but if you want to play games...get a PC. Windows blows like a pressure washer, but if you're only playing games, you rarely get past the desktop. :)

Oh, and you can get a decent PC for CHEAP. Trust me...if your into games, leave your Mac alone.

We will NOT be having a PC vs MAC debate here!
Mostly because you would lose. ;)

The MAC version of EU2 is I believe 1.07 equivalent.

I have heard from a couple sources, I believe MacAddict among them, although I can't find the issue, that CK is indeed Mac bound, but I can't find solid press release.

To date, EUII, Victoria and HoI have all been released, so there is a good chance CK will too. Virtual Programming is doing alot of pretty cool games.

Now, if you want a gaming machine, you really should get a PC. But, there is a difference between that and owning a Mac, and wanting to play an occasional game. Heres another set of fingers crossed that CK will be out for the Mac. I've gotten pretty much all I can out of EUII.

As I said given their history it is a good bet but I have seen nothing official.

They do seem to keep up with official patches.
