I'm having this issue as well. Stuck on the 3/4 counter.

Spaninq helpfully pointed out that the de jure borders of Serbia might change if you sleep too long on it, like I did.

I have a feeling this was my issue. I loaded back up into my game with a screenshot of Serbia's borders at the beginning of the challenge, but ran out of time before I could fabricate claims :(

Maybe I'll just do a second run and remain a part of Hungary while solely focusing on Serbia. This was a fun challenge though for casuals like me since I never really start games outside of 1066 and earlier bookmarks.

Does anyone know how long they plan to keep doing these?
With the last quest, are enough points for unlock all the rewards... but no further word about stop it.
I would like to they continue with one each two weeks, the quests have a nice challenge and not so long to make the game interesting to keep playing.

Personally, I'm hoping for a Latin Empire monarch's journey. If only for the chance to stick it to the Byzantines (or Nikaeans, I guess) one last time (assuming there is no Latin Empire bookmark in CK3).

Although an Ottoman one would also be fun, for the same reason.

Unless there is a change, CK3 has only 2 bookmarks neither is close to the latin empire

Ck2 didn't ship with 834 and yet it's one of the better liked start dates. Because it's got a lot of work put into it. They could easily add other ones.

834? 867 is confirmed, so contextually you mean 1204, unless you mean 936 (which is better liked), which is no closer to the Latin Empire start date.

Sorry not enough sleep, I obviously mean 867. And like I said adding another start date in a DLC like one where the latin empire exists is far from impossible.

I managed to complete the challenge as Pavao himself ; my first objective was to seize all croatian land under the hungarian king, then I declared independance only to swear fealty to the HRE. I asked the Pope for claims on dutch titles, then became king of Frisia. With this de jure HRE kingdom, I fabricated a claim on the empire, but I realized that all it would take to usurp it was a murder since I was the heir, thanks to my good traits. Once elected, I invited Serbian and Bosnians pretenders and pushed their claims, and I also dowed Venice several times to take back the required territories.
The three great works has been started thanks to all the weath saved by crusading and being the Kaiser.

Very interesting. Reading the AAR it sounds pretty gamey, but looking at the results on the map images it looks like it was still a lot of fun and relatively cohesive/believable to play out

Not really sure how I'm supposed to convert Hindus within my lifetime in the latest challenge. I suppose there is some gamey way to accomplish this that I'm just not seeing though.

I too am wondering about that, I've tried looking for hindu characters I can force invite through favors, but there aren't any I can see, the few hindus that are in range are all councilors or rulers and can't be invited

The convert hindus to shia challenge seems to be not working as intended though. It progressed for me even when I converted characters that were not hindu. So it became quite easy mode when I could just convert sunnis, while still being able to complete the challenge.

Edit: Also you do not need to build any temples apparently, you just need to hold so many in your realm which means you can just do a few conquests to complete it.

Oh, I can can convert anyone, that becomes way easier...

EDIT: That worked! Thank you!
