Doomdark is the project lead for CK2.

I've talked to alot of press today about it, will be some info trickling out over the next few weeks..

Think we aim for a q1 2012 release or so.

well 2012 is far away.
i think it was better to keep it longer secret, and then announced in Q2~3 2011.

I disagree, actually. An early announcement is good because the developers can get player feedback what they want, don't want, and whatnot. That's one of my favorite things about Paradox; they actually listen to their customers and make adjustments based on community feedback.
