How do we get Paradox to move to Vienna?![]()
Experience of programming or scripting in Lua, C++, C#, Python or Paradox own script language is a must, and previous experience of modding our games is a big plus, especially Crusader Kings 2.
Meh, you always do this just when I'm job hunting >< STOP TRYING TO TEMPT ME TO MOVE TO SWEDEN.
A google search I did before applying said that computer programmers can make 38,000 Kr a month in Sweden. Paradox might pay 20,000 or maybe 70,000, but if you need a ballpark figure, there it is.
So only "Paradox Script" is actually required then (if a bit thin a base to stand on)?
Ah well seems the last date to apply has come and gone already. Probably wasn't meant to be.![]()
Is there an RRS for PDS job offers or something? I will most likely be changing jobs in the next few months and if a good position appeared I would be really tempted to apply
Also is fluent Swedish always mandatory?

Swedish is not mandatory, we have several people at the company who do not speak the language. (But we encourage to learn it and offer free lessons).
I don't know what RRS stands for but I'm guessing you mean if we help out financially when relocating to Stockholm? If so, the answer is no.
Blah, typo. I meant RSS. Or any kind of way of notifying me without me lurking the forums/website constantly :ninja:
It is kinda understandable that you don't offer relocation packages, else you would be flooded with peopleBut on a serious note: What is the cost of living and flat rent in Stockholm (approximately)?
English is sufficient? Great. Free Swedish lessons? That sounds excellent!
Unfortunatly, living in Stockholm City is quite expensive, unless you buy an apartment (which also happen to be expensive) and are extremely lucky with the price. The prices do become more humane once you leave the central area though.

You'll have to pay over half of that in Swedish taxes.
Not really. You pay 30% on everything you earn up to 35K/month, 50% on everything you earn above 35K/month, and 55% on everything you earn above 55K/month.
So most likely you'd pay 30% or just above it.
