I've verified game files, I've uninstalled and reinstalled the game, yet it won't start at all. I started Steam from the command line and this is the output I get when I run Crusader Kings II:

I also tried running the ck2 executable from the command line. First I browsed game files then simply ran ./ck2. I got:

Code:
./ck2: error while loading shared libraries: libtbb.so.2: wrong ELF class: ELFCLASS32

This is the same error Steam gave me. What is it and how do I fix it?

Hi! I use Manjaro linux and I also had that problem. Apparently it's because the library in the game folder (libtbb.so.2) is 32-bit and not 64-bit. I was able to verify this by managing to run CK2 in the steam beta program using a version before the game became 64 bits.

The only way I managed to get it to work was to use an libtbb.so.2 from a working Europa Universalis IV installation. I don't attach the file because I'm not sure if it's allowed, in any case it should work with any 64 bit libtbb.so.2 shared library in my opinion.

Sorry if I have bad English, it is not my first language.

Yes, only Ubuntu 16.04 or better is supported for this game. Which doesn't mean games won't work, but we cannot get developer support.

Even if Linux Mint 21 is based on Ubuntu?

by the way, this solution worked for launching ck2 from the command line, but it still doesn't work on launching on steam. Running ./ck2 works, but launching from steam still doesn't work. I get the following error when launching from steam:
