Idk if this was asked before but whats up with nomads having THOUSANDS of countiers? Honestly i cant play the game for 10+ years before every small nomad lord, both landed and unlanded raiders have 1000+ characters with them

This makes the game super laggy

The solution is to remove all the government files in Plus. I've also posted a new version, compatible with 3.2.1, in the download thread.

If there is another maintenance update on the old branch, we'll take care of it. This is the right place to report problems, even if our focus is on the rewrite.

The "Create the Kingdom of Portugal" decision isn't working. I click on the button, and nothing happens.

Its just not nomads, i converted all nomads to tribal/feudal gov and yet they continue to gain countiers

It was related to the government rewrite, but the latest unofficial updates on page 12 of the Download thread should fix it without much side-effects.

sorry if it has been mentioned already, but I'm noticing a lot of people getting apparently "stuck" in hiding. Especially females after pregnancy, but also people who've gone into hiding due to wars. Also, I'm seeing women getting stuck with "difficult pregnancy" modifiers. One woman is 57 and has been stuck in a difficult pregnancy for about 20 years.

The prestige requirment for laws shows that i dont have enough even though i do it only happens with a few laws like realm inheritance and vassal war
declaration
kingdom lockout laws
controlled realm inheritance
and vassal war declaration to be precise

its 'fixable' by simply going to the laws. txt file in the mods/ck2plus/commons folder and removing all "prestige = 250" lines

That said, a quick query, the new crusade mechanic doesn't seem to be working for me. For some reason, crusades have been unlocked at 875, following an OG start. On top of that early trigger, the new shield mechanic, from which, in vanilla, we can pledge support, doesn't appear, instead, a crusade just starts out of nowwhere, no event announcing a target, no two year delay etc, none of the new crusade features seem to be working.

An event fires, announcing a new age of religious wars, then, the following month, the pope goes from being at peace, to being at war with a crusade target, but without ever announcing a crusade for that kingdom, no shield mechanic becoming available and my only option for joining the crusade is via clicking the banner beneath my char portrait and clicking the arrow to join the crusade for whatever kingdom title.

Is this a bug? Or have the new crusade features recently introduced not been included in the mod yet? Are they exclusive to the catholic faith and thus this is working as intended? Just tried a game at the 1066 start date, used the console to flip BYZ sunni and trigger crusades and the new mechanics work fine for catholic rulers. So guessing this is due to the chalcedonian religion and is as such working correctly?

EDIT: Incase it's a bug, it might be helpful for me to include some basic info huh?

The mod was only made compatible with the patch. Not with the new DLC. Which means there isn't new stuff from the Holy Fury dlc in CK2+.
The Holy Fury stuff was supposed to come in the next updates, but the mod was built in such a way that the team decided it would be better for them to start from scratch and build the mod from the ground up.

So in sum, Holy Fury specific stuff is usually not available in CK2+. Only once the new build will be up and running, and that will take quite a while, since it's a monumental effort to remake the mod from scratch.
 
Thanks for clarifying. I was abit unsure.

It does seem that the shield and pledge mechanics, plus title distribution (atleast limited from my partial test) are intact from holy fury, with CK2+ but only for catholics, so that makes sense.
I haven't played holy fury without ck2+ as I find it hard to play the game without all of the mods features, so I have no idea how the holy fury crusade feature is MEANT to run.

Best of luck to the those working hard on the mod, it's much appreciated.

There is a bug in the decision to create the Holy Roman Empire (first_coronation)
where the crown is not added to the artifacts and the owned titles (kingdoms) are not destroyed.
 
Lastest patch, all DLCs, the game just crashes on Jan 2nd next year when starting in William the Conqeuror bookmark. I'm playing with half vassal limit and demesne limit.

edit: 1066 bookmarks cause a crash in a few days regardless of rules. Both default 1066 and william the conqueror. It's pity because I always play this bookmark.

Hi, just a quick question... Creating titles is costing me prestige, rather than awarding it. Is that intended? The tooltip says it'll give prestige and cost gold, but it always takes both.
 
I have a previously reported trouble with Nomad Courts spawning thousands of courtiers. I don't want to abandon the game. Hence, two questions:
- is there any reasonable way to fix that going forward; i.e. without switching off the Nomad government. Shouldn't pruning take care of such cases?
- please, advise is there a way to remove all these nomad spawlings from the savegame file

A fix was posted a while ago, which you can still find on page 12 of the Download thread. I do not know of a quick and easy way to get rid of these characters. The game will likely purge most if not all of them rather quickly, so they will only remain as dead characters in the save, which don't take up nearly as much space.
