Well, I managed to fix the borked portraits by removing the offset in the GFX files with Notepad+, which wasn't difficult at all. Hopefully the author will update this mod again at some point - CPRplus is an absolute must have, can't play without it. Sorry Paradox, but the vanilla portraits are almost as terrifying as the thing I found in my bed the last time I partied too hard with Captain Morgan.

Seconded, update or instructions for fixing it myself would be very welcome.

Can anyone point out out obvious problems with CPRplus and CK+plus together? The only one I seen is Sahidic culture having vanilla portraits.
A lot of CPRplus specific portrait sets will not be used unless cultures are compatched, and some discrepancies between CK2+ and CPRPlus portrait mechanics might appear.
They're not technically entirely incompatible anymore (credit for that partly to the CPRplus team that actually added CK2+ triggers to their default mod).

So basically you can use them together without a compatch, but you will miss features. Anyway, I'll take a look at what needs to be compatched now.

Man, this is tedious. I remember now why stopped doing this before... Well, thankfully I am now more experienced.
Compatch time!
Not that this was only happy tested, no guarantee. Plus, it does not yet include some minor things like proper outfits for Cathar Perfecti. Will add that later.
Requires the Workshop version of CPRplus as before, you'll have to figure it out yourself if you want to use CPRplus via the HIP installer.

Note that the new Windows update gives me problems creating .zip files for no reason, I had to use 7zip program to pack the mod. Thus you may or may not have issues opening it. Should definitely work with 7zip.

Edit: Corrected file uploaded.

Where did you come up with that term? :D
:D
Stole it from you :p
(Is that not a proper term? Honest question here...)

Edit: Just noted I made a few mistakes, like using it together with the dev build and not the released Plus version... will update later.

Thanks man you are awesome and i love your mod thank you for doing this.
And I wanna donate soon but my country have worst dolar/euro exchange rate. But i will do it soon anyway.

Thanks!
But first, this is just a compatch, I did not make CPRplus or CK2+ ;)
And second, donations are not allowed by Paradox, so don't even bother. Just enjoy the mod(s).
Thanks again for the thought though :)

Well in the portrait_properties.txt it seems you messed up the martial headgear
It should be
# Martial headgear
10 = {
factor = 100
modifier = {
factor = 0
NOT = { has_portrait_property = { layer = 3 index = 10 } }
}
}
but you leave out the "factor = 100" part, which causes it not to show up in-game

Aargh.
Thanks, will fix it soon. In the meantime, you obviously know how to fix it :)
Tbh, I was almost sure I missed something, because of the sheer amount of tiny differences.

What is exactly incompatible with CPRPlus? I want to know.
As I said before, there is no strict "incompatibility".
If you use something like KDiff3 (which I do) to compare the files, you can see lots of differences between CK2+, CPRplus and vanilla.
Because the CPRplus guys are a friendly bunch, they have already included some pieces of code to improve compatibility with CK2+, like unique robes for Desert Mothers/Fathers.
But apart from that, CK2+ has a different set of cultures that require compatching to be using the fancy new graphical_cultures CPRplus has to offer.
And then, if you don't compatch the hurdle for unique armors is very low, meaning almost every character will wear special armor ingame, and so on...
Tiny things you can ignore, but with a compatch you get the full features out of both worlds.

A fair warning btw: With the next version of CK2+ base compatibility will actually deteriorate, because CK2+ will add something new*. That will make a compatch even more important than before (though again, your game won't crash without it, just look strange).

*Not saying what, just teasing you :p

Well, that new update came faster then expected.
However, I accidentally included the newly needed file in the last version already, so the file is good to go even for the 2.8.3.1 "MacAdder" CK2+ version ^^

(and the newly appearing -solved- incompatibility revolves around baby portraits, as could be expected)

:eek: LordPeter broke the non-existant modder's NDA with the CK2+ team and released content to the public early :eek:

:oops:
I know, it's really bad.

There is a floating white blindfold by the right of every portrait in my game
Indeed? Should not be obviously, will have to check why this is. Maybe it needs updating after all...
