Hi guys. Playing as Byzantium I kept asking myself why the retinues had seen so much a change. There's no answer on the CK2+ forums, I searched for 45 minutes.

One guy asked this very same question 2 years ago, but he got no answer :

Thank you in advance for the explanation.

I've no idea. (see Joined date).

@schwarherz @zeress?

Ask Wiz, he done it. Not literally though, he'd probably not remember anyways and I doubt he can comment on it anyways.

EDIT: Although now that I think about it, at least at the time the Byzantine ones were considered way too OP to leave as they were.

I've noticed that there is significantly less blobbing in this mod compared to vanilla. I am curious, do you know what mechanics that your mod uses that discourages blobbing?

There wouldn't just be one "golden bullet" of a thing doing it; though if I had to choose one thing factions acting in a more sane manner would be near the top I'd imagine.

How does that help exactly? Also the imperial decadence system helps too I bet.

The AI isn't constantly spamming any possible faction at any size, thereby throwing themselves in prison.

When does an Empire collapse and is it possible for the HRE to collapse?
When its size falls below a certain treshold (I think 100 realm size).
Yes, if its ruler is no longer Catholic/Chalcedonian or some heresy. Ruler can chose to convert and keep the HRE, or lose the HRE and gain German Empire as replacement.

They will also "leak" vassals if they choose not to convert.

Do you know what is the event id for that one?

I will try to be more clear

Charlemagne scneario, im female count with Agnatic cognatic sucession law in my county. My religion in chalcedonian. Im in byzantine empire

I have a strong claim (which i acquired via plot) over the duchy my county is located in.

The duchy inherithance law is absolute cognatic.

I have my liege imprisioned (as well his heir).

Even after I released him i cant declare war for my strong claim, only causus belli avaiable is independence.

Why cant i try to enforce my strong duchal claim with war?

Is it because my char is female and the duchy has Absolute Cognatic law? (according the wiki, u cant push strong claim of female char for AC laws, unless if your ruler is female and is pushing its own strong claim)

Is it because some crown authority law (my own, my duke liege´s or the byzantine empreros´s)

Something else?

Another question, is there a way i can exhange my liege release for his duke title, since i have a strong claim ( i think there is not, just asking, becausa i think something like that should be possible, like when u capture the ruler when your are at war with and war score goes to 100% automaticly)

I appreciate any help

Emperor needs medium or higher CA.

I think you can only "usurp" prisoner titles if you have the same liege.

How the... how do you even do it? Unless... wait. Wait wait wait waaait.

You know, I wonder what would happen if I just happened to send my court priest to your location with the "root out cabals" task. But, in case he hypothetically finds one, I'd prefer to be hypothetically given the option to join myself. I'm not saying we should all accept the love of Satan into our hearts, hypothetically, yet it's in theory what I'd do. Hypothetically speaking of course. Hypothetically.

You can declare interest for the devil worshipers society, if it exists for your religion.

Root out Job mostly deals with heretics AFAIK. Heretics are not devil worshipers in general :)

Speaking of religion, is there a list anywhere that lists all religions and heresies in ck2plus? That would be really helpful.
Welcome to the forums, or to posting here anyway :)
As for a list, there is none afaik, but you could simply open up /common/religions/00_religions.txt where all the religions are listed.
Alternatively, you could always just look them up in-game in the ledger, where only the pre-reformed ones like Hellenic (+heresies) are missing (due to a main-game bug).

If you have the ruler creator DLC you can also just use that in-game to see the whole list

So this could be a possible bug. I am using the beta Patch/ Update and it seems now I am getting constant Invites to carousing mutiple times even if you decline they keep on asking you to go out and party with them. Not sure if anyone else is having this problem or not..But I just thought ill post it here and see if maybe someone else is having this issue or not.

Pretty Much I am constantly getting invited to small gatherings and even when I decline.. They ask again not long later.

That didn't change with this update BUT, some characters are more prone to this. I will tweak it for next beta.

Next time please use appropriate threads.

The chance for fabricating claims with your Chancellor seems really low. Did this get nerfed in CK2Plus?

It's actually higher than in vanilla, but it accounts for more factors, so in the end it may be lower in certain cases.

Next beta will have a game rule for it.
