Hi, yes I did try using the installer a couple of times (downloaded again as well just in case). I'm using Windows 10 as the administrator. Norton did initially flag the installer, although I did restore the file. Perhaps that could have had something to do with it?

Greetings,
so I've actually played a session for a change (and greatly enjoyed it), yet while playing I stumbled upon a multitude of minor bugs. I am not sure for most of them whether they are from Plus itself or actually from vanilla, so I'm gonna report them all here, and you devs will know which to pass on. A caveat: I played with Rex Teutonoricum enabled, so my checksum is the one from Rex and not the official Plus one. Plus I also use ARKOpack Interface, which doesn't change the checksum and thus should not influence anything. Yet I am pretty confident that these things I post here are not related to REX - I might have a few submod-specific ones, but I'll post those in the appropriate thread.

1) Several events have no/incorrect scopes in their tooltips (right picture is only to illustrate that the guy indeed has a name):
20171107231627_1.jpg20171107231632_1.jpg
This is only one example, actually I encountered several. The events seem to mostly be pretty old and standard ones, so I suspect they stem from thr vanilla game, maybe not even the DLCs. I am unsure whether this issue only exists in Plus, or also in vanilla (i.e. if the mod's changed vanilla files contain the errors, or the base files).
Edit: I found another example:
20171102000353_1.jpg

2) I got "Bogolomists in Bulgaria" (which was pretty annoying btw, but in a good way), and the event text stated that they "appeared in the province of Kossovo".
I checked and there is no such province:
20171107225908_1.jpg
Is that supposed to mean the region, or was the province originally in the game and has been removed? Anyway, I find the text a bit confusing, and maybe it could be changed. Not a major thing, sure, but worth mentioning.

3) Hungary settled (quite a while ago!) and kept its "Nomadic" succession law - as a Christian Tribal Kingdom:
20171107224227_1.jpg
WAD or bug?

4) I got the "Brazen Bull" event again, while I still had the modifier - I failed to take a picture of the event re-appearing, but anyway that's the modifier I mean:
20171107220504_1.jpg
Was not a major thing, but immersion breaking because it simply ignores that i already have it - plus that event has a chance to give depressed when you don't want the modifier, so being forced to stay at -10 general opinion or risk going depressed is pretty harsh. The event should simply include a trigger condition of the modifier not already being present.

Above is the event, when it fired the first time though. The event is a bit inconsistent btw, because even though it actually manages to get the characters into the localization, it has two almost identical options (1 and 3), just for two different persons, where it only displays the character's portrait for the last option, and not the first. The first option had the same tooltip, for my wife, but her portrait is not shown as you can see.

5) Carousing - yet again. An old friend of yours :p
I got a friendly invitation for a party by a kinsman - but it turned out I was away on Pilgrimage:
20171107001455_1.jpg
I am impressed that he sent an envoy after me, but I don't think I should be able to both be at home partying and on a pilgrimage to Rome at the same time...
In other words: Invitations to carousing should consider pilgrimages.

Well, that's it for now. I'm pretty sure I'll be back with more later, and maybe also some suggestions.

Seems likely.

I'll check these tomorrow.

Hello, guys.
Have a problem here. If this character dies, his great house will be vanished from republick. But why? This great house has a lot of men to succession!

I've saved a game just before his death.

P.S. Sry for my bad english :)

UPD. Probably its not a bug, he left the republic and create a new one. WOW!

@LordPeter fixed all issues except for the missing tooltip scopes. those are vanilla tooltips, and it's vanilla that changed how scoping works there.
Ah, good.
I suspected those were vanilla; then I'll wait for the next patch and check if it was fixed already before reporting it there. Unless you've already done it, ofc.

It probably is a bug, but anything that has to do with succession is problematic at best. Especially if it's republics.
I will look into it.

This is kinda minor and easily avoidable, but Elective succession no longer works with the newest update (2.8.0). You and the NPC's can no longer nominate heirs, and everybody's dynasty dies out. This means that the Charlemagne start is basically unplayable, but all of the other starts work.

EDIT: I know this may only be me, but I deleted everything and reinstalled. THe problem's actually bigger than I thought. About a month after starting a game, all of the succession laws in my realm switch to successor nomination, with the absolute inability to choose a successor. So nobody can have any errors. Is this just me?

Interesting.
Might be a serious bug indeed; but then, I was under the impression that CK2+ is not even compatible with the JD update yet...
Maybe... you just need to wait?
;)

I have exactly the same problem with Charlemagne starts, I only downloaded Charlemagne yesterday and do not have any new DLC's.

/edit Fixed by using new Beta, hadn't realised that my game had updated when I downloaded new content.

Anyone get this to work on mac? I followed the instructions to the letter and the thing wont launch.

I put everything into /Documents/Paradox Interactive/Crusader Kings II/mod/

This was reported a while back. Could you try deleting CK2Plus/map/terrain directory? Either 2.7 or 2.8

So.....
1) Installed JD
2) New version of ck2+
3) Mantua is no longer on a trade route ... used to be on the salt route ? (it used to be on some ck2+ trade route, for sure).
I'm guessing this is a small oversight, to be fixed soonish

Just rolled up v. 4.07 beta to see the JD compatch. Haven't played with it much but I noticed that Taoist characters are getting Hindu castes in their traits...

Not experienced enough to know whether this is a bug, but thought it odd.
I chose Non-dynastic heirs "Yes" and started in Fife using New World Order. I like to fast forward 30 years and then take over some random county. But the game ended suddenly with the death of the elderly count. Doubly odd, he had an heir, and it would seem the Non-dynastic heirs setting would have kept the game going regardless.
Not a big deal, but thought I'd let you know.
This was from a clean install of the 2.8 installer.

Not sure if this is on you, but I'll report it.
When I use the 1000 start with the Byzantines, I am at war with Bulgaria, icon in the bottom right and all, but the armies don't fight and if I click on my character it doesn't display any war, same for the Bulgarian ruler. But in the meantime, their armies act as if they were going to attack mine.
I'm using the new CK2 update and CK2+ beta

Not sure if this counts as a bug or just something you haven't hooked back in yet, but the "win a war" ambition doesn't fire as being complete when using the new CBs (well the ducal conquest one, but I assume the others too, since originally existent CBs worked fine).
