Unless I am mistaken, aren't all but two empires in CK2+ titular? (for the record, the empire in question was the Spanish empire). I made it in the normal way - raised crown authority to max, met all the other requirements, and bumped up from late feudal to imperial. If I check the de jure box on the empire though, it says my primary kingdom title (Aquitaine) is de jure (note that I have de jure drift turned off).

Ah, I may have made it possible to have imperial if de jure drift is off. But that's kind of a nonsensical rule for Plus... Since you need drift for other empires to become de jure.

The Chinese armies spawn in Alencon(1513) when you invade them. 1513 has to be replaced with 1614 (Jiuquan) in jd_chinese_invasion_events and jd_chinese_war_events (which is not in CK2+).

Not sure if this is a bug, or if this is the correct forum.

But I have been having some issues starting Ck2 with the CKPlus Mod activated. I downloaded the most recent BETA5 Mod today and started a new game. I was able to play for about an hour or two before the game crashed. All attempts to re-launch the game stop after "syncing" on the steam page. I tried deleting the saved games since I thought maybe it was a save game issue. And I tried re-installing the game itself and the BETA5 mod.

Side note: not very experienced with modding so it could be a dumb error on my part.

Thanks

Are you using a mac?

That's your problem
... because there is a mystery issue related to Mac, not because Macs don't work with the mod in general. Currently a lot of them crash, and the reason has not been found yet.

I recently lifted my Greek Patriarch as Patriarch Supreme, and then i had to shuffle around my vassals a bit and revoked both of the poor man's ducal holdings (patriarchates of both Rome and Constantinople). So now i have 6 patriarchs, and they don't fit.

also, the current patriarch of Rome is my vassal, but i still can't excommunicate Karlings because we have different religious heads. (He answers to Rome, I answer to Constantinople)

That's because your patriarch supreme should have Constantinople. I remember having a similar problem a few versions back. I had to use console commands to fix it.

Aztec Revolts (possibly all religious revolts?) automatically disband instantly

Version: 4.07 BETA4
Mods: None besides CK2+
Expansions: All of them through Jade Dragon

Issue: I conquered land that the Aztecs had held for a couple of centuries. The populace was fully following the Aztec religion. I was Chalcedonian and had the active culture conversion policy. As expected, Aztec revolts spawned in the regions I conquered. However any Aztec religious revolts from the conquered citizens would immediately vanish without a trace after forming. Other revolts behaved normally.

From the BETA5 change log:
  • Fixed uncleared flags in Liberation revolts that could cause liberated states to be revassalized on revolter's death.
  • Fixed instantly invalidating religious and heretic revolts.
Please ensure you are using the latest version before reporting issues as there are many fixes between versions

Don't know if bug or WAD, but with imperial administration, you can press someone's claim and then instantly revoke it for almost no penalty, which just seems wrong.

e.g. I just Pushed Rodwald's claim on Lombardy, and the new person took a title message pops up

I take it from him, he begs for it back, i tell him to stuff it, the council is like plz no and i tell them to stuff it, and now i have the kingdom ready to redistribute for a a few hundred prestige, and he only has the -40 "usurped title: opinion instead of the -120 from revoking a title.

Version 4.07 BETA5
  • Shields of revolutions, raiders and people otherwise lacking a flag display the roman flag.
  • Early medieval saxon heavy cavalry shows the proper flag as a small square on their shield surrounded by other flags.
  • Tochnarians and Achneans use european buildings

I've found a weird... inconsistency with CK2PLUS while making my mod. It seem that the game doesn't recognize Latin as a culture_group for checking triggers/allows, it only see it as a culture under the crusader_group. Making a decision with "culture_group = latin" in the allow make it request the crusader_group (which include latin and outremer) in game, not latin (group) which include the french, norman, occitan and roman.

I am on the latest beta (Dawn) and just to make sure I've only enabled a single other mod (a new mod that only contain a decision with allow = { culture_group = latin } ) and the issue appear. Using to console to give myself the "latin" culture (in the crusader group) make the decision available.

I guess that using the same name for both a culture and a culture_group confuse the game. Renaming the group to latin_group in ck2plus would be the easiest fix I guess.
