Summary: CK3 - Technical - Game crashes shortly after start
Game Version: 1.0.3
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 Home, 64-bit
Platform: Steam
Mods: None
Pain threshold: Unable to play

Description: After selecting a character to get into the game proper, the game either freezes or completely crashes the computer after a variable amount of time, usually no more than a couple of minutes.
Playing in windowed mode seemed to work on one occasion, when the game ran fine for a couple of hours, but since that one time the solution has not worked.
I have tried to reinstall the game twice, once removing all created folders before reinstalling. Verifying file integrity show no errors. Graphics card drivers (NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1060 6GB) are up to date. An exception has been created in Windows Defender for the executable.
The game ran without issue when I first installed it, was able to complete the tutorial and go a while further beyond that. I did not pay attention to which game version that was, about a week ago. One multiplayer session also ran without issue after that.

Reproduction: Starting the game as any character, play for a minute.

I have attached the files I believe to be of use, will gladly supply any others that are needed.
Regards
Jelly

I see a few unusual USB peripherals in there, does unplugging whatever you can there make any difference?

Unfortunately nothing specifically about the problem shows in that dxdiag.

Are you overclocking anything? If so does removing that help at all?

Hello, thank you for the response.
I had some loose USB cables that I've now removed, otherwise the only things I know having plugged in are mouse, keyboard, and headset.
I've had my GPU running on default settings, I'll try increasing the fan and manually decreasing the clock and see if that does anything.

Jelly

Edit: I set the GPU to a preset "Eco"-mode, while setting the fan to "Turbo". Unfortunately this does not appear to have worked, the computer crashed while doing the regular setup things in CKIII (Marrying the character, picking lifestyle focus, and the other pre-unpause stuff).
I looked for a new set of crash dump files, but there doesn't appear to be any created for this crash.
Computer reboot took quite long, so I am uncertain if temperature readings are relevant, but CPU and GPU are currently both showing around 40 degrees Celsius.

Can we get temps while you are in the main game menu please?

And new copies of dxdiag, error.log please.
