I decided to do a full factory reset of my PC wishing that maybe this time it would fix the issue, but no. I managed to play for over an hour, but after closing the game and loading the save later, it crashed after about 5 minutes into the game. Not gonna lie, I'm starting to lose faith at this point.

After one of these crashes, can you reload the same save and carry on past the crash point? Or it always crashes as the same spot?
Look in your Windows Event Viewer as the time of the latest crash - any significant ERROR or WARNING entries there?
Please install and run the free utility Speccy. Send its output to a text file and attach that here please.

Sorry, the file didint attach for some reason. The crash ususally occurs about 8 minutes after loading the game. It crashes at random, I can continue past the point when the game crashed the next time I load for a couple minutes until it crashes again. Nothing of significance in windows event viewer, same as the last time i sent it here.

I don't see any likely cause of this problem in that file, unfortunately.
Crashing after a particular time is often a symptom of overheating, although 8 minutes is pretty short for that to happen!
Please report the temperatures of your CPU and video (GPU)
1/ before starting the game up and
2/ after say 5 or more minutes' play - ideally just before it crashes
If your PC's vendor has given you no way of reading temperatures, install
SPEEDFAN http://www.almico.com/sfdownload.php
