Ck3 won't launch (game pass), possibly due to sync error

I know this has been posted about a lot, but I've tried everything that was recommended in other threads and nothing is working. A couple days ago a pop up came up to sync my game files when I launched CK3 from the launcher. I allowed the sync to happen but then the game didn't open. Since then, I was not able to open the game. I tried uninstalling and reinstalling but this time cancelled the sync. This opened the game, but I was missing many saves and as I played more saves from previous games were being removed, I also have to cancel the sync every time I launch the game and if I let it sync I have to reinstall it again. I would like to play the game with my saves being synced and don't particularly want to stop the sync every time I play. Are there any fixes for this? I have already tried repairing files, installing c++, windowed mode, antivirus exception and running as administrator but none of them seem to work.

Hey, thanks for replying, I've tried deleting the wgs folder but it leads to the same issues as reinstalling the game, that being the loss of saves (not ironman saves) and having to cancel the sync every time. I would like to find a way to play with saves of different games and not have to lose all my saves when I start a new game. However, if this is the only way I may have to do it until a patch.

This is what pops up. If I let it sync then the game won't launch again and I'll have to reinstall, if I click stop syncing then only my last few saves exist but I can play the game.

Have been having similar issues with launching the game. Played for about a day then the game never launched again. This is the only thing that I haven't tried, mainly because when I launch the game and get to the play/resume screen, the pop up shows up and never stays for me to see what it is. So, haven't been able to play for weeks. Also using the game pass version of the game too, don't know if that would attribute to the issue or not.
