No problem.Thanks for building this great Wiki!
Now if more people would just help out updating it for newer patches...

If you want to contribute, just register and find an article to improve upon. Any improvement is appreciated; anything from fixing spelling mistakes, to formatting, to adding more information to existing pages, or even making entirely new pages.Hey man, thanks for that wiki.
I should contribute, but I don't really know how to.
Definitely; there's a mod category for just that purpose.I'l give updating some info on the wiki a go, when i get home later today. Is adding information about mods also welcome?
The EU4 wiki hasn't done quite as well yet

Because Paradoxian registration is indefinitely closed.There's an EU4 wiki? Why isn't it on Paradoxian.org?
Even just adding additional bits of information to existing pages is great help.That's the problem! I have about a 1000 hours in on vCKII and numerous mods. I think I can manage editing some small things, but I'm worthless when it comes to the lay out of the (new)pages, links, and whatever.
A pure wiki noob. xD
Just out of curiosity: Where did that second Crusader Kings 2 Wiki come from and who is updating it?
Yeah, that's pretty much why I made the wiki. Sadly the owner of the Wikia has no desire to merge the wikis.Oh, that one. Well, frankly I hate Wikia; the platform has ads and is terribly bloated; their editor won't even load for me. Plus, you lose a significant degree over the wiki, and in cases where wikis wanted to migrate off of Wikia, Wikia has sometimes decided to keep a copy of its own. Give me good ol' Mediawiki any day.
Well, the guide entries go into a lot more detail, and are focused more on what you should do than what the mechanics actually are. They could probably use some updates though.If i remember correctly, that's the reason why Meneth made his own.
@Meneth
Do you mind to put up some explanation to distinguish between Guide entries and open and up-to-date entries ? It was confusing for me the first time and probably is for noobs.
Just an idea, as it took some time for me to realise that there are sometimes your good, but sadly outdated entries, and these new ones existing side by side.
Thanks btw for this Wiki, i hope i will contribute something once in a while, though i won't promise anything.![]()

IMO that would be quite underhanded. While I did do so in the case of the Victoria 2 wiki, that was because it was simply impossible to contact the owner.The Wikia is under a CC-BY-SA license. Your CKII wiki currently doesn't have any copyright info. If you also put a CC-BY-SA license into place, then CKII wiki fulfills the "share alike" requirement, and may freely copy any content from the Wikia, and then modify it as necessary, so long as you attribute the copied content to the Wikia. That's the beauty of having wikis under Creative Commons licenses... users can copy info onto the wiki they like best, so that whichever wiki is best will be the most complete, and attract more people. Natural selection at work.
