I've been unfairly banned by some bot. None of the administrators on the Wiki are responding. What do I do? I've been banned for two days now, this is unacceptable.
You've been unblocked; see my response in your other thread.

Said this on the EUIV board, but the same is true for CK2 i.e. the Wiki is truly outstanding. Gives an incredible amount of strategical as well as bread and butter mechanics information. Great job by all those who contribute, and especially to Magne/Meneth for pulling it all together.

I agree with the praise, the wiki is invaluabel for any modding work!

But I have a question @Meneth: Is there a way to suggest something without directly making an edit?
Because I tested something, but I am not sure if I am right about it, and don't want to add potentially false info to the wiki. Also, since it is only a minor thing, I don't want to register there since I will rarely visit again and likely forget my account credentials soon.

The thing I would want to suggest is to add a check mark for "max_population" in the "province" row on this page (http://www.ckiiwiki.com/Modifiers), since I experimented and added a custom province modifier, and it did add to my max population. Unless I was mistaken and something else did that, because the UI is a bit vague on feedback for that. Thus, maybe someone needs cross-check that before it is added?
Anyway, I'll just leaves this bit here, and if it was the wrong place, or direct edits are preferred even if one is unsure, you tell me thus :)

Nowadays the Wiki uses the same account as here. Not seperated anymore.
So while you are logged in here, you only have to click on Log-In on the wiki page to do so.

You could put it on the "Talk" (also known as "Discussion") page of the page. That'd be this page in this case: http://www.ckiiwiki.com/Talk:Modifiers

Ah! Excellent, I'll do that.
Also, shared accounts is a great thing - the wikis are even better than I thought ^^

Hi,
I'm new to the forums and just keen to make a first post. I own the 'big four' as it were (CK2, EU4, HOI3& and Stellaris) but still trying to come to terms with them really, so the wiki is an important resource for me. Cheers

you are missing Vic II (one of the most underrated games Paradox made) which IMO is 2nd to Ckii in the Paradox catalogue of fun

The Paradox wikis are running a multi-wiki contest as after the release of both Cradle of Civilisation and Jade Dragon. This contest is available across CK2, EU4, HOI4, and Stellaris wikis.

Prizes include discount vouchers up to 90% off in the Paradox store and the option to win copies of Crusader Kings II, Hearts of Iron 3 Collection, Victoria 2 Complete and Age of Wonders 3.

I've done several edits (including adding Tibet and its kingdoms to the Empire and Kingdom pages). I'd like to put Taoism in but I'm not familiar enough with its features (I don't even know which religious group it belongs to).

Eastern = Buddist, Hindu, Jain and Taoist.

(If this isn't the appropriate thread for this comment, let me know and I'll move it elsewhere asap. Just let me know where you want it.)

Could someone clarify the succession gender laws for me please? The wiki states that tribals are limited to agnatic, and that agnatic-cognatic is impossible for a tribe without at least notable status for women. I remember this actually being the case before as whenever I played as Dobrava of Kiev she was always stuck to agnatic until reforming or adopting a reformed religion, but after coming back to her I can now freely switch to agnatic-cognatic. I'm not complaining, as this will make my all-female lineage runs easier(as will the new female rulers in Tibet), but I was legit confused when I noticed the change despite the wiki suggesting it's the same as before. Am I encountering a glitch, or is this a new feature of the new expansion? If it's a new feature, then great! I'm all for it! I would simply like some clarification is all, and of course an update on the tribal and gender succession wiki pages when it is most convenient.

Some screenshots:

Now if you'll excuse me I'm gonna start another female run in Kiev. :D

Hi, do I need to get some sort of approval to edit the wiki? I don't seem to be able to do so.
You should be able to edit almost anything on the wiki. Exceptions include the wiki frontpage and some high-use templates.

Make sure you're logged in, though even when not logged in you should be able to edit.

I was trying to edit the Breeding page with the info you provided on reddit about inbreeding, but clicking Save Page just refreshed the edit page without doing anything. I got someone else to make the change instead.

If you were not logged in, that may have been due to not filling out the CAPTCHA.
