I've got a small issue. I'm playing as the HRE and as I understand it is possible for empires to have kingdoms as vassals right. So I tried to claim Hungary for one of my family members. In the description of the "claim nation" CB it said that if I win the war and the person I am claiming for is of my dynasty (which he was) (or I am the de jure liege of the nation (which I wasn't, but it said "or" so I didn't think that would matter)) then that person becomes my vassal. This did not happen. When I won the war my family member was just installed as the king without becoming my vassal. He also took a chunk of my empire with him in the process. This was mildly irritating when I actually thought that I would add Hungary to my empire.

funny, I experienced some other issue as a king under the HRE. I formed the kingdom of Burgundy, but unlike other vassals of the HRE, I can't elect the Emperor anymore (despite the fact I still hold 2 duke titles of the HRE). It also seems that I can't be elected, other than for example the king of Bohemia.

We are currently working on the issue. There is a problem with tooltips that does not display the necessary information.

The person you're claiming for need to have a title in your realm in addition to being of your dynasty. Sometimes they don't even have to be of the same dynasty. And sometimes, like in my first post, it won't work even if they are of your dynasty and they hold titles in your realm.

I noticed that, too. Had an earl who I pressed a claim for, he became an independent duke. Only when I made him a duke, he remained in my realm.
