i mean in HOI series each country gets a few or many historical events, like germany with the wars or US with intervention moves. and in a few japanese games i've played so far they also place a heavy emphasis on events. (nobunaga no yabo anyone?) the random events in the game are interesting, but i think adding a few clan-specific events will spice up the historical aspect of the game, especially in scenarios like "rise of nobunaga" etc.
