I installed the coat of arms DLC but the graphics for the coat of arms are all pixilated and messed up. Is there a way for me to re-install them or something? Thanks for any help.

I'm having this same issue, using the latest patch (from Gamersgate).
Earlier responses to shield issues suggested deleting the gfx folder and that would be a fix.
It didn't fix the Coat of Arms DLC size/pixilation for me, so I need assistance as the OP above requested as well.
(Note: I don't have any 'black' shields, just ones that seem to be but a corner or warped portion of the intended COA).

Are you using the GG version?
Have you entered the GG ingame store and looked if the CoA DLC says "Reinstall"?
If so, press the button and download it again and restart, otherwise report back here.
Note: We had to patch the CoA DLC at the same time as 1.03b, so that might be why your CoAs are bugged.

For me, I am using the GamersGate version. I'd installed the game patch, but not reinstalled the DLC.
Per Tegus's suggestion, I logged on to GG through the ingame store and reinstalled the Coat of Arms DLC.
Thanks for the suggestion, as it seems to've corrected the coats of arms that were having issues and it seems to be functioning as intended now.

Try this: In the launcher(ck2game.exe), deselect the CoA DLC. Then go to the GG store and see if you can download it again. If that is possible, restart the game again and see if it works.
I deselected it and in the GG store it says "buy" and the option is greyed out because "You have already bought the dlc"

Hmm, I think I might now what the actual problem is, but I cannot check until tomorrow...

If I may tag on here rather than make a new thread. I can't seem to get the DLCs to load.
I have the GG version, and everything was going fine, I installed it and got the DLCs and everything was hunkydory, however then my c:\ blew up and I had to buy a new one, reinstall windows and everything, and now having reinstalled CK2 and the DLCs they don't load. The launcher window has nothing in the white boxes areas reserved for the DLCs and mods. I've tried the reinstall buttons, and I've tried logging out and back in of the ingame store but to no avail.
I've no idea what the problem might be, but just in case it's important the game was installed on my D:\, so unnaffected by the breaking of the C:\. However from past experience with EU3 simply loading it up wouldn't work, I'd have to reinstall, but I'd made some modifications I didn't want to lose, so I have 2 directories, the old original /paradox/crusader kings 2, and the new paradox/CK2. I highly doubt that might cause a problem, but it's the only thing I can think of at the moment. I'd greatly appreciate any help.

Some game information was stored on C: by default, under your MyDocuments folder. I would uninstall the game again, manually delete the CK2 folders in there, and install afresh wherever you like.
Also see the patch note: People who purchased the game from GamersGate should also reinstall DLC #1 - Dynasty Coat of Arms Pack (or they will look garbled in the game. Open the ingame store, select "Dynasty CoA" DLC, press reinstall, then restart the game.
