So the DD concerning Japan talked about house blocs and cohesion. I have a feeling that cohesion could be used in many other mechanics, especially with the screenshot showing “Type”.
  1. Confederation. House bloc is inspired by confederation, so confederation could borrow from it. It now feels too easy to elevate confederations, even for AI.
  2. Political Movements. We can not assume these factions are always united. A disunited faction is a weak faction, vice versa.
  3. Kingdoms/Empires. especially tribal ones.
    • Realms with high cohesion would receive defender advantage.
    • Tribes/Nomads with low cohesion would dissolve.
    • Admin realms with quite low cohesion would fall back to feudal/clan.
    • Only with enough cohesion can a ruler attain high authority.
