Hey guys,

I spent the last few days editing the Hoi2 map in a way such that the province's borders (mainly Germany) resemble more realistic borders. You can view the results here.

I know that it is still very "unclean". If you're interested, I will clean it up. But for now, it is sufficient to play with.

So why should you install this? Well ... the provinces were edited preserving all connections and river crossings ... so it should be compatible to all your mods and specific setups and ready to play without any other editing! So just give it a shot and if it does not meet your taste ... simply delete it and replace it with your backup. Easy as 123.

How to install:
Backup your original "maps" folder.
Unpack the zip uploaded and attached to this post into the AoD (or Hoi2) folder.
Enjoy!

I am very open to all suggestions and especially bug reports.

Cheers

Okay, now this is a screenshot of the 1945 Doomsday scenario ... as you can see, some adjustment need to be made (because of the sh!#tty provinces Paradox made per default) but with my mod it is possible to create historically correct occupation zones.
