Summary​

Colonial Nations take region color, not variation of overlord color

Description​

When a Colonial Nation is formed, it initially has the correct overlord-derived map color, but on confirming the event which lets you rename the Colonial Nation it assumes the color of the colonial region (i.e. yellow for Mexico, light blue for Eastern NA, green for Caribbean).

Steps to reproduce​

1. Form a colonial nation.

2. Confirm the name of the colonial nation.

3. The color switches.

Hello there! Thank you for the report. We cannot reproduce the issue. Could you provide more information and if possible a way to reproduce the issue?
Please try it without the Leviathan DLC(but with all other DLCs). Then you can reproduce it with the following steps:
  1. Start a new game as Portugal(or any other country which is not yellow)
  2. use the console command integrate AZT to get 5 provinces in colonial mexico
  3. let the game run till a CN forms
  4. now the CN has a blue color based on Portugal
  5. accept the popup to name your CN
  6. now the CN turns yellow
