Colonist Names and Geneolgy

If I manually change a Colonist's name does it add the first and last names to the auto generated name list for that play through?

Does anyone else think that would be fun?

I think it would be cool to watch the family line of the Founders. Could be attached to hidden achievements.

Do children even have Family names based on the parent Colonists?

Do children potentially inherit the perks/flaws of parents?

Hi, there are no real families and relationships like in some other games. The children are just a common wealth, shared by everyone.
