Im not entirely understanding what is going on with combat in the game. This only occurs with Lux Invicta (Which is my favorite Mod thus far). During combat, no matter the martial skill, the traits, etc., some of my units just disappear during combat. For instance, I had a 2400 stack of levies attack a small 500 stack of men. During combat, instantly, over 900 of my men disappeared into thin air. They all just vanished during combat. Why? What is going on? This occurs no matter what is going on. I have lost thousands of men this way and am no closer to understanding how it is happening.

Am I just missing something?

I've been super confused by this as well.

It appears that several hundred to thousand just disappear into a puff of smoke. I have even made sure to elect generals that have over 20 martial ability and this still happens.

What ever it is it's making the game completely unplayable for me. I attack 1000 troops with 5 thousand and lose 3 thousand of them.

There are two tactics that cause the massive casualties, Collateral-Casualty Cavalry Charge which has a 200% defense penalty on heavy infantry and pikemen and Fervoured Frontal Advance which has the penalty on light, heavy and pikemen.
