I've been using your mod for quite some time now and I must say it's amazing. However, I've got a couple of questions regarding combat modifiers;

1. HQ units are virtually undefeatable while defending. If you attack an enemy corps consisting of HQ the battle lasts for days/weeks since the HQ unit doesn't seem to take any damage at all while all other units in stack/province are long too disorganized to fight on

2. how came that infrantry combat modifier for fighting in a desert is -10, while tanks receive a whooping -80%?

3. don't you think that combined arms modifier of -5& is somehow too low? Armoured divisons without inf. support weren't as nearly as usefull as it stands now.

4. organisation of mot. divisons (when attached to armoured ones) drops too fast - I know that they are probably "softer" and less though but that doesn't justify the drop of their organization.

I'd really like to know what you think about the above issues...Regards and compliments for great work

1. Yes they do not make much harm but they are fierce to break, this is pure HOI and we did not modify it. I do not see any need of doing so anyway for now.
2. I do not think you are right there. If you check our file infantry and armour has -40 for the desert attack and both of them have -10 for desert defence. Do not remember what the HOI values are. If I remember correctly we are only giving -80 to armour in mountain terrain.
3. You might be right, I do not think we can change that though I will need to check it out. In any case armour divisions did not use infantry nor even motorized divisions for the blitz, those were coming behind to secure the new land and HOI is giving 15% bonus in defence (which will better represent that fact) which sounds appropriate to me. You should consider the 5% attack bonus as a gift :).
4. They do not need to be attached to armour to loose the organisation but yes they loose it much faster than armour units. For HSR 2.03 we are now giving a bonus in organisation to motorised (including one in morale which will increase organisation recovery) and decreasing the basic organisation for armour units to make it more even and make it more difficult for the tanks to run endlessly. They still have the same organisation loss rate anyway as we did not alter any further the combat values.
