commander bonus ?

When having multiple armies, each with its own commander. do the bonuses of each commander apply to his/her units? or is it just the highest lvl commander apply their bonus to the whole army?

Similarly, if you have only 1 commander but two armies in battle do the commander bonus apply to both armies?

It only applies to the army he/she is in. Like if one army has a commander/hero and one don't, the army without a commander/hero don't get the army bonuses that the commander has.

The commander that's in the leftmost position in the stack (as displayed at the bottom of the screen) grants bonuses to the units in the stack. Units in other stacks aren't affected, even if they participate in the same battle.
