1. In 1577 playing as Sweden i had a commander with the honourable name of Lewenhaupt.
Since the much talked about legendary commander adam ludwig lewenhaupt was born in 1659 in outside copenhagen in a military camp, I am wondering, is this his ancetser or??
Did he have a grandpa och olderthat was a military commander??
His dad was in the army, that i know.

2. About 1580 I have a commander called Duke Carl(swedish). On his 'info' and stats bar i see that he has 2/2/2 and so on.
He is the monarch!! woohaa i think
but I check the button where you can check religious stuff and convert and so on.
And there it says that johan III is the king of sweden!!
very strange and odd

Not strange. This is Hertig Karl (Duke Charles) just like it says. Hertig Karl later became King Karl IX, but two of his brothers and his nephew (Erik XIV, Johan III and Sigismund)were kings before him.

Hertig Karl became king of Sweden after he defeated Sigismunds troops at the battle of Stångebro.

Actually, I can see your commander king 'dying' and still remaining the king -- he could just lose a leg, arm, or other extremity, and be unfit for battle but still good enough for a king. As for the other way around, yeah, if the king relinquishes the throne to his successor (I think Karl V of Austria did this), it might happen.

Good rationalisation, I´ll adopt that! :)
As for Holy Roman Emperor Karl V: after resigning, he went to a monastery in Spain, where he stayed til the end of his life, I think. I actually don´t remember a monarch who did major military campaigns after resigning, though. Were there any?

The king should have the 'ability' to get injured or killed(Karl XII was in the storming of a castle once..he was number two up the first ladder..and you wonder why i chose his latin name as my nickname!!)
But if you loose a leg you still can lead an army..not as easy if you a head though :)
But if you're king is killed you shold get a baby sitter gov (in my own language)
