Community Project Standardize Extra tags for Armageddon

Guess what--I discovered an undocumented feature of the Armageddon 1.1 patch--you actually get 80 new user defined revolters, not just the 30 they told you about. I'm glad they got the most important ones like puppet England, puppet China and communist Vietnam. But they still missed quite a few, like Dietsland and Turkestan. All you have to do is make your entries in Boostertext.csv and revolt.txt. I'm hoping that by posting here we can all use the same numbers for each revolter and then hopefully paradox will adopt them in the Armageddon 1.2 patch.

Wait a sec, are you saying these were included but not mentioned in the readme, or did you make them?

And do they have flags?

They did not include them per se, but they included the capability for modders to fill up tags U20 through U69. Paradox has now included them in country.csv, so once you make the entries for them they will work. I've done some preliminary testing. I have flags for about half of them, and have made generic files for leaders.

Užičkibombarder--go ahead and submit your nominations--Benelux is already essentially in as Dietsland--United Nations and Vatican are in some of the mods--communist France is implemented by having Britain inherit France and releasing "Free France" as its puppet, etc, allowing metropolitan France to go communist. I was hoping to get the "major" ones so that those who want things like the UN or the Vatican can just use the 01, 04 numbers or whatever from those mods.
As for United States of South America or United States of Africa, check out the fantasy tags--all you need is an entry in revolt.txt and away you go!

Could someone please explain so even I understand?

This are countrys that are included in the new patch with generic leaders, ministers ("black shadow" etc) and flags, shields and counters? Or?

Another question; I had a go yesterday playing a GC as Germany and was able to release "Transbaltica" (but without shields or flags), is it thanks to 1.1 or some minor modding I've forgot about (for ex. adding some SMEP-files a time ago and didn't replace them with backup. I can't tell)?

Transbaltica is a SMEP country. The new patch includes U70-U99 with "shadow" ministers and realistic tech teams but no leaders. SMEP (unless they recently changed) has countries, imaginary ministers, similar to the shadows, generic tech teams, but once again no leaders for its new countries. My project is to give the following:

1) Standardization in the U20-U69 range of needed countries. There are many good mods out there but they use different U numbers for the same country.
2) AT LEAST a generic 25-man officers corps for all countries.
3) AT LEAST 5 generic tech teams (like SMEP) for countries in all cases. If the country is very small they can still have the 5 teams but the teams can be reduced in skill to 1.
4) In many cases, more can be done. For example, Transbaltica is a straightforward 3-country combination of Estonia, Latvia and Lithuania. It therefore deserves: a) a set of ministers comprising all available ministers from the three countries. b) an officers corps consisting of all the officers from the three countries c) tech teams consisting of all available teams from the three countries. It's actually mostly a matter of cut, paste and renumber.

I will do an initial release upon completion of at least the following:
1) puppet England leaders--hypothetical but realistic leaders, real ministers--Paradox did a good set of teams already
2) puppet China with complete tech teams (combination of Pdox and CCIP concepts), leaders and ministers
3) puppet Northern China

After that I will do a second release with the same for major "combo" countries like Transbaltica, Turkestan, Transcaucasia and Austria-Hungary.

I solicit the following (because it can save me some work) contributions posted to the board for teams, ministers and leaders.

Here's an example: Transbaltica is U11 in SMEP. CCIP uses U11 for Idel-Ural. Mod34 uses U11 for Micronesia. In this project Transbaltica will be U64. Micronesia will be U41 and Idel Ural will be U48.

Maybe rewrite the Chinese Surrender Events to include the new Chinese Nations? I volunteer myself to do that much. I am in the process of making a mod, and that was part of the plan, so I might as well make it available for the community.

It's different from the original in that it is, I believe, more realistic:
1) Choices are one China, North and South China, and 4 states--puppet China, puppet North China, Guangxi Clique and Yunnan. In all cases Xibei san Ma is left out. If there is a normal surrender, it becomes Japanese occupied. In the CCIP "Communist China stays in the fight" version, it is not annexed (by CCIP design) but submits to the Communist China alliance.

I've cooked up the idea of the following additional event for Western China--if Communist China, and Xinjiang are both eliminated, a governance plan for Western China event pops up and the choices are:
1) Unitary state of Dunganistan (U65) in the area.
2) split between Dunganistan and East Turkestan (U67). For the politically unaware, Xinjiang under Sheng Shicai was a Sino-Soviet occupation state, and East Turkestan comprises the same area but has the Uighur nationalist flag.
3) annex to Chinese state--if North China existed, it would be added to that--if North China did not exist it would be integrated into the Japanese puppet state.
If you want to write that latter event and save me some work, go ahead.

Some tags that I think should be included are:
Communist Greece- necessary for a Greek Civil War
Communist Italy- could be useful for cold war scenarios or if Russia gets half of Italy or something
Communist France- could be useful if Russia takes over mainland France and France fights on from the colonies

There should be a potential country for Blacks in the US Black Belt. A lot of radicals supported this during Hoi2's time frame, like the Communist Party of the US. A decent name could be “New Africa”

Also there should be a New England federation, some sort of State for the Mid Western USA, and an Alaska and a Hawaii so that the US can be annexed and replaced with puppets if a conqueror so choses.

Also Cores and extras should be reworked for countries so that more puppets can be created. If you release Angola first, for instance, you can not release DRC because of its claims on Angola. Same for the new Rwanda revolter. DRC should just get extras on those provinces so they aren't required for releasing the rest of the Congo.
