component transfer error

when i try to unistall the game i get an error message like this:

file:
error: catastrophic failure
what am i gonna do to uninstall?
note: i am talking about doomsday with patch 1.1

i followed the instructions on the sticky thread "how to manually uninstall hoi2". cleared register and deleted files. after that, from control panel>add/remove programs i uninstalled the doomsday. so the problem is solved.
