Summary
Concede colonial region peace option doesn't account for when it eliminates a nationDescription
I'm not positive this is a bug, but it feels like a bug to me. At least it's a fun bug.I'm playing as Spain and a decent portion of the Mesoamerican nations have converted to Catholicism. In my war against Huastec, the AI didn't let me annex them outright, because of the usual "Would result in Huastec's annexation or vassalization" negative AI acceptance modifier. However, I was able to get the same result by choosing "Concede Mexico" instead, which did not produce that modifier. Sure enough, the AI accepted the peace that removed it from the game. While doing this, I also noticed that I could ask for them to become my vassal (for 0 warscore and 28 diplomatic power!) or give war reparations, as well as any other options that are usually not allowed if your peace proposal also eliminates the nation from the game.
Steps to reproduce
Declare war against a reformed-native or non-native nation with less than 100 development and all provinces in one colonial region that contains one of your colonial subjects. Go to the peacemaking interface and select the "Concede [Colonial Region]" option. Look at the positive and negative modifiers for if AI will accept and see that "Would result in [nation]'s annexation or vassalization" is not one of them. See also that the options that are usually disabled for nations that no longer exist after the war are still enabled.Game Version
