Hello everyone.
I am writing this due to some concerns that I wish to voice (hopefully) to the devs and others in general regarding a couple of achievements in 1.35, specifically "Anglophile" and "Master of India". There may be some other achievements that could be affected by the changes in 1.35, but these are the two I can currently think of.
Simply put, due to the massive changes to the English/British missions, I am curious how this will affect the Anglophile achievement. Will it be possible to get this achievement following both paths, or just the historical one?
Secondly is my concern for the Master of India achievement, when specifically playing as Britain. The requirement for the achievement is as follows:
Master of India
Own and have cores on all of India as a European nation.
The issue I raise is that while this will still be possible to gain as Britain, it will somewhat go against their content and flavour as one of the features (and one of my favourites too) is the ability for Britain to establish the East India Company to rule India. If a player was playing as Britain and going for a historical playthrough but also the achievement, they would be required to not establish the EIC and own India as cores, as the achievement states. So my suggestion would be to change the requirements of the achievement to "As a European nation, own or have a subject nation own cores on all of India."
Thanks for reading.
