Confederacy?

Is there any way to release the confederacy as a puppet you have invaded the USA? I can only release California, Texas and USA as puppets after I have annexed them as Germany.

I know it's possible, I've done it. Next time release the confederacy before releasing the USA, as the USA might have required cores for the CSA. Also releasing TX independently makes the CSA weaker, as it was the most important state in the CSA

if you want to release the CSA ,then don't release Texas nor the USA ,cause the Texas-cores are CSA-cores,too.same with USA,the CSA,California and Texas are cores of USA,once you released one of them,you can't release the USA (only if you modify the revolt.txt and/or the provinces in the scenario)...

For the adaptation of the E3 map to AOD I've relied on a shortened list of core provinces in favour of more extra provinces. This does allow you to have CAL, TEX, USA and CSA and the same time. Depending on the sequence of how you release them they can have a different shape. My AOD/E3 USA has only Washington/DC as minimum, so that you can release as the last nation which gets the remaining provinces.

I'd also drop this regular_id thingie as it favours the USA.
