I'm currently playing a MP game with a friend of mine, we're playing the 1936 scenario with some modifications of our own (an event added to the japnese file, leaders without deathdates, partisans have a reduction rate of 0,1). Now we played a long winded 1936 campaign last weekend, I (the host) made a save game to continue on later.
However, playing with the latest save file caused him to lose connection with me ("connection lost"). This first time it worked out fine as the autosave worked and we could continue playing without a hassle. The next time, the regular save worked fine. But this time around, neither the autosave, a save taken by me, OR a save taken by him will work (he keeps suffering from "connection lost" ).
I have no clear Idea as to why this problem appears in some games but not in others. I suspect it might be a port issue (since he doesn't have all of the recommended ports opened), but finding eachother and transferring the file works just fine.
Any help or pointers by anyone who's had the same problem would be greatly appreciated
