1: What platform are you using?
PS5

2: What version of the game are you using?
7.00

3: What DLC do you have installed?
All DLC

4: When did this start happening?
Started during uprising war/s between my federation and rebels in ally federation empire, with ally federation empire as main defender/president (single player). Enemy planets and habitats, either conquered by myself or ally, would show as occupied on galactic theater but wouldn't be updated on war overview tab making war goal impossible.

5: Can you replicate it, if so, please explain how?
Can replicate, currently in 2 defensive wars. One with an empire and the other with an uprising in an ally empire. Replication explained in #4

6: Does this happen on all saves or just specific ones?
Only game I've started since 7.00 release

7: What steps have you taken to try and solve this yourself (reinstall, Google error code etc)?
Unable to fix; tried reloading save, restarting PS5, etc.

If an ally takes it it doesn't count, at least in previous versions. Not sure if this is intended or a bug. But looks like a bug to me.
Allies in war occupying planets in systems that you claim and/or own do count, same goes for you occupying as well. Pre 7.00 it would actually tell you if a planet that you (or ally) occupied transferred ownership to the claimer/owner of that system, but I haven't seen it since 7.00 so I guess they got rid of that notification since it was kind of an annoying pop-up. Still transfers ownership of planet tho.

Update: Just had a 3rd uprising war in the same ally federation empire as the first (which is still going on due to planet occupying bug), was able to occupy all planets and win war without getting planet occupy bug. Since its not a 100% reoccurring bug like in the first 2 wars, I haven't the slightest clue what causes it. Might just be caused by the game crashing due to overloading with assets, which causes the processing to screw up and the update of the war overview demands to fail... or something like that idk. ╮(─▽─)╭

Post Recent Update
Planets are still showing as unoccupied on war overview even though I just conquered them, making war goals impossible. Same as before, except its a new game and I'm defending one of my vassals instead of a federation member, uprising happens and I have to defend an ally. Easier this time since the uprising empire only has 2 systems and one single planet. Destroy their fleet and conquer the planet easily. Hover over the planet on system overview and it says its controlled by my empire but the war overview goals says otherwise. Don't know if orbital rings have a part in it glitched out like this because the planet does have one, but either way nothing has changed about the problem even after the update.
