Yes. The game was bought and paid for through the Playstation Store on the PS4 on Dec 4/21.
Then I have no explanation why it's not available to you free, like it is to all other users in your position! You are accessing it in your PS5?

You purchased but did you download and install? It's a separate process. It will not play on PS4, only PS5.
I believe the conversion of CS to remastered is by Tantalus not Colossal Order.
It's been said it will be late summer. But not which hemisphere. I will be playing it too, even after CS II comes out. I have lots of DLC to use on CS.

I downloaded it and the dlc’s I bought on Dec 4/21 (I looked at my achievements to get my purchase date, and that’s the date of my first CS trophies), I’ve played it on two different profiles on the PS4, and now one on the PS5. I have the PS4 version I purchased installed on the PS5, and still the PlayStation store says the ‘Remastered’ edition is $53.
Are you saying that even though the PS Store in Canada carries the ‘Remastered’ edition, it still may not be a free upgrade for me yet?
I am currently playing the PS4 version on the PS5. I have 1) started a new city on the PS5 and 2) moved my saved games from the PS4 to the PS5 and continued playing a previous city.
I’m located in Canada, I haven’t seen anything official saying the free upgrade isn’t available here, though I could have missed something somewhere.
Log in to the second account on the PS5, that you played it with on the PS4. It may have been purchased on that account and not the one you are currently using on PS5
One account has a full membership, whatever the highest subscription offering is right now, and buying power at the PS Store.
The other doesn’t have a subscription & isn’t & hasn’t been used to buy games.
All of our game purchases go through one account. That primary account, the purchasing account, is what I used to originally purchase the game, and the one I used to download & install the PS4 version on the PS5. I bought & installed the ‘Plazas & Promenades’ dlc on the PS5 the same day I installed the PS4 version.
