Right click on ck3.exe , properties, compatibility. Tick "disable fullScreen optimisations" untick every other box in that dialog, Apply and exit.

Then in the launcher Game Settings menu, select fullScreen display mode, Vsync off, cap refresh rate at 60.

If those don't help:

DXDIAG is a program you run from the Windows search box on the task bar. After running it will open a window and start collecting info with a progress bar in the lower-left corner. When it completes click the 'save all information' button and save it to a file then attach that file here.

IF dxdiag.txt fails to attach here, rename it to dxdiag.log , or zip it up.

Please attach here your Documents/Paradox Interactive/CK3/pdx_settings.txt .

From your Documents/Paradox Interactive/CK3/logs/ folder, attach here system.log , error.log , exceptions.txt

I tried the first method but am still expieriing the crashes.

I didnt have any files inside of the exceptions folder, attached is the exception doc from my crash folder. and I also didn't have anything inside of my system.log text.

You don't have either of the common causes of crashes in this game at the moment, particular Intel CPUs and Windows 11 versions. So I'm not sure what is causing this to you!

Do you have a save that seems to trigger this crash for you fairly reliably? If so best to post it in Bug Reports here - assuming there are no mods in use in it!

It has been all on one playthrough while trying to get the king of atlantic and meditarnaianand seems to always happen while at war seiging capitals. Once I am a free I will start another campaign and see if the crashing continues onto that one as well.
