Constant Crashes makes campaign unplayable

I am Stuck in Campaign number 5 and cant finish it due to constant crashes.

The game crashes to desktop (only in Campaign number 5) whenever i try to

- Buy more land
- load a savegame (no difference if cloud or local, autosave or manual)

And of course the game crashes sometimes randomly.

I would be ok if the game only crashes randomly but 100% of the times i try to buy more land and whenever i try to load the game makes it impossible to finish the 5th campaign map.

No mods at all - clean vanilla installation

I attached 3 manual saves and one autosave

Hello, I have exactly the same problem no matter how many times I restart campaign! Absolutely no mods and never used any, new player, but without land can't finish the mission and everytime it crashes I have to restart, because trying to load game also causes it to crash.

Exact same problem for me, I bought Prison Architect a few days ago, have no mods installed and had no problems until map 5 of the campaign. When I went to load up my save for campaign map 5 the game was just crashing to desktop, so I tried again with a new game but the same thing happened on my second attempt as well. No matter what I do I can not load up a map 5 save game whether it be a manual save or autosave. I started a new prison (non campaign) and I seem to be able to load that save file up no problem, as I did with the 4 previous campaign maps.

I've attached one of my map 5 saves + the back up I made, I tried em both before uploading them here and neither work still.

I should add I have tried starting the game in safe mode and loading the saves, same thing happens.

I'm also having this issue. No mods, and even deleted the saves to restart. This happens from the launcher and also when I load from the in game menu.

I am having exactly the same issue, but it's not just campaign chapter 5, it's pretty much all of them, Resume from the launcher crashes to desktop, loading the game from the in game menu, Crashes to desktop,

Complete vanilla install and game files integrity verified

Hi Guys,

Same thing here. Campaign 5 when trying to load a save or purchase a land expansion. I believe this only started after I purchased all of the DLC. I have tried the following

-Running in Safe Mode and Legacy 32 bit mode
-Removing all DLC
-Verifying integrity
-Uninstalling and reinstalling multiple times
-Loading in windowed mode
-Deleting my appdata folder for PA

Edit: No mods in use

Just crashes to desktop no matter what.

I'm having the same issue with the Campaign 5. I have all the DLCs installed, no mods.

It's pretty clear by now that at least the Mission 5 crash is a bug, and will need a new patch. Sorry about that!
