Constant crashing on PC

I'm constantly having problems crashing while trying to play the game on PC off of Steam. I'm stuck on the tutorial mission and I've gotten as far as building the gate despite all the crashing and reloading. Nothing seems to trigger it, it just crashes to desktop after playing for a couple minutes. I've even tried uninstalling and reinstalling, and after that it crashed immediately after reaching main menu (a new one), and after that it played fine for over six minutes before crashing my entire computer instead of just CTD (also new).

I know for a fact it can not be my PC, as it meets and exceeds the requirements of the game.

CPU: i7-14700K
RAM: 64 GB
GPU: 12GB NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4070 Ti
OS: Windows 11
SSD: 1.2TB free out of 1.8TB

I'm not entirely sure where to get the crash log for this or I'd provide that as well.

FIRST please check for an updated bios. Then please implement the “Intel Default” option in it, if present.

Went through updating the BIOS and yep that fixed it. I thought I had fixed that CPU issue through other means months ago when building this computer but I guess not everything got resolved.

Thanks for the info, I didn't realize Intel had started rolling out a fix.

I could understand if this was 1996 as the crashing on Ultima 9 was historically insane but i have yet to complete 1 game on my PS4 without a crash, its obvious that paradox needs to patch this or repay the public like car firms recall as would anyone put up with this with any other form of media.

Your issue on the PS4 is nothing whatsoever to do with the problem discussed in this thread, which (as you can see in the post above yours) was a PC hardware fault fixed by a bios update.
