Constant Crashing

So I've got 36ish hours game time, and since this latest patch, I can't play for more than a few minutes without the game crashing. I've tried turning video settings down, running on a slower game speed, nothing seems to work. Is anyone else having issues with the latest patch or am I unlucky?

have you tried verify cache?
right click>properties>etc
log files should be in user>mydocuments>paradox interactive>crusader kings ii>logs
or somewhere close
If i under stand it you are playing a 1.04 save?

Ah. That could be the issue.

Yes, it is the same save I've been playing for a few weeks.

I've verified cache to no avail. I shall start a fresh save to test.
