Playing on Windows 11, no mods, I've tried updating drivers, verifying integrity of game cache, reinstalling, nothing seems to work. I haven't experienced the issue prior to the most recent update but I also haven't played for a few months until now.
The crashing seems to happen randomly when the game is running. Sometimes on high speed, sometimes on low. Sometimes I am trying to do something, sometimes I am not. Sometimes it is really fast, other times it might take half an in game year before crashing. It's not really consistent.
