I started playing on the "Roslyn Peninsula" map on defaults (vanilla).

I start playing and notice a disaster warning! I'm like okay, I'll just play with disasters anyway. When the Natural Disasters DLC originally released, the disasters were somewhat mild and infrequent.

Then I start building away on my Roslyn Peninsula city and get bombarded by disasters rather quickly. I never had that before, but it wasn't a major deal, as previous disasters I played would have long lulls of no disasters and then get them back off and on.

Well, this playthrough, on Roslyn Peninsula, I can't keep ahead of the disasters. Sometimes I have two or three happening at the same time. Tsunami's are the worst. they seem to last longer the more tiles I unlock. Then I get sink holes, meteors, earthquakes, while the tsunami is still active.

I just unlocked my 4th tile a few days ago, and I haven't been able to progress as those stupid tsunamis are unrelenting and I'm stuck in an endless recovery mode.

Is there any simple fixes to these tsunamis? This is a large island looking map with a few hills. I don't want to destroy the landscape with artificial walls around parts of the island.

I'll post a saved game if anyone wants to see what is going on and maybe offer some advice?
