Since I am unable to find the tech support forum, as either I am retarded or its just not that easy to find(i hope its the latter). And hopefully someone will direct me to them or this thread will be moved over there

Anyways, bought the game from a person on craigslist for next to nothing.
It crashed all the time, basically the game would freeze up and just sit there(audio would still be playing) or it would crash to desktop with romegame.exe crash and it sending info.

So I uninstalled, cleaned the registry of any left overs. Restarted PC. And bought the Rome Gold version on impulse. Installed and same issue.

I am running Vista x64 6gb ram nVidia 260gtx OC
This is the data from the crash reports:

there are a ton of these, all with same exception code which I believe is trouble writing to memory which leads me to a problem with the program and all memory tested fine and even replaced with spare memory just in case with same issues.

Any help would be appreciated.

If you go to your My Games and Registrations page, you'll find an entry for Rome Gold. Enter your serial number there and you'll gain access to the tech support and bugreports forums, and you'll be able to post in the mod forum.

Hopefully there'll be some info there that will help you.

Were you ever able to get it running?

Ahh... check if any new(those which declared independence) country has "noculture" and "noreligion"
