Is it like Austria ruling the Greater Germany and made Hungary as a puppet?
Yes. A mighty Austrian Empire ruling from the Adriatic to the Baltic Seas. Hungary will be a semi-independent state, actually more like a puppet country of Austria.
And as for the state of the mod: let's just say its on shaky ground
Upgraded my computer(can finally run HoI3 now and I'm loving it!), yet forgot to transfer the events/other files so those are all gone. But from looking back they were kind of horrible and half baked.(I mean come on, fascists marching right through Washington D.C and the establishment of a National Socialist Dicatorship led by Ford,
MacArthur, and Rockefeller? or General Patton and President Hoover/most of the US military forming a popular resistance movement in the Rockies/west coast, complete
with communist uprisings across the nation and establishment of the People's Revolutionary Democratic Republic of North America(cause Canada/Mexico get taken over)?)
I really, really don't want this mod to die. But where in the world is everyone else-Half of the people appear to be gone.
I've been thinking lately of starting the mod in HoI3 from scratch. Take the time to rethink the alternate history-I plan to make a rough timeline.
From experimenting with nation making in Hoi3-It wasn't that hard despite the many failed attempts. I made a Martian Empire country that conquered America or something in 1941....in about an hour of modding.
The only issue I see with making a Greater Austrian Empire or other countries(mainly from existing nations-and no martians) is ministers and flags(he he...my flag for the Martian Empire did not show up for some reason-it was a black flag with a picture of Mars in the center sporting a Red Star in the middle). If we get people to handle the graphics though...then It wouldn't be much of a problem. And more people(if you don't want the mod to die a slow, painful death)
I WANT to see at least a working beta of this mod released-at least some form of the mod no matter how primitive up on the internet for people to play(Oh how KR makes me so jealous-so many people supporting it, great modders with mad programming skills, awesome gameplay)
Anyone who wants to help be my guest. If I go ahead with the HoI3 idea I will make a new thread in the HoI3 forum and post a link to it the current thread.

Should this nation have the name "Greater Austrian Empire" or in other name?
vanilla Austria will become "Greater Austrian Empire"

The map is rather rough(I'm revising it) but it'll do as a guide for now.

The Swedish Empire won the Great Northern War, seizing Norway from Denmark and cementing its control over the Baltic.
Bourbon France/Spain
Created from the union between the kingdoms of France and Spain after wining the War of the Spanish Succession, this nation has effectively dominated West Europe for centuries economically and politically. Should the storm of world war come, The united kingdoms of France and Spain shall stand firm.
Greater Austrian Empire
Through military might Austria gained the right to annex the German states. Although Prussia resisted at first, it began to wither and die on the vine, until it too became part of the German section of Austria. Hungary, although part of Austria and not officially a state whilst more so a region, has some independence in the Empire.
Soviet Union
From the hellish fire of revolution sprung forth a new and proud socialist Russian state under the glorious leadership of Leon Trotsky. It's military literally unmatched in numerical strength, Trotsky has urged cooperation with communist revolutionaries around the globe if they are to truly achieve the Proletariat World Revolution, a seemingly impossible idea set forth by the brilliant Karl Marx.

Alright, but I'm not much of a modder.
Maybe instead of the Greater Austrian Empire we could just have a Germany which includes Austria and the Czech lands as well, with its capital in Frankfurt instead of Berlin?
Ministers, countries, historical background, just about everything about modding except graphics and events.
That is a nice coincidence, since the only thing I do know how to do in modding are events and graphics.

when you say make a map, do you mean the game map, or to make a map from a blank template(like mine above)?

well, I'm using pteap as a general platform for the mod. I will be essentially modding a mod, so to speak. I really want to save time(the map is already there, events, ministers, etc)
I've modded the scenario .eug file. Got rid of Germany from selectable nations, changed central power alliance accordingly, got rid of that illogical USA/Pan-Americas alliance and replaced it with Japan(some sort of pan-Asia Alliance-I really don't know who's going to be in it besides Japan, but I need some sort of replacement for the US led alliance.), modded vp .txt file to make the Austrian capital of Vienna worth 25 vp, made Washington D.C worth 10 vp for possible US civil war and/or invasion by another nation(think of all the time you invaded America as Nazi Germany only to get 1 vp for taking over Washington D.C)
Beyond that, I of course absorbed Germany into Austria, and that's it for the modding so far.
