I find it supremely silly and immersion breaking that I can take on and execute contract after contract and not have the time advance. Missions in MW5 do this and can be a factor in deciding which contracts to take. Since time advances while you execute a mission, any pending repairs, ship/mech upgrades or pilot recoveries also progress. This makes so much more sense.

I agree. In my opinion the game would be more internally consistent if time were a factor. Especially considering how much Armor needs to be repaired even on those Missions where no Internal Damage was taken. Yang is a good MechTech and runs a tight shop...mouth he ain’t THAT good. : )

Absolutely agree, time advancing on missions should never have been dropped in the first place in my opinion.
I'd be happy enough with it as an option in difficulty, but I'd really like it variable as suggested, although this is certianly more work as all missions would need reworking to add a specific time value to them.
