Cookers are doing Guards jobs on Security Rooms

Hello, i'm playing on the normal version of Prison Architect and there's a bug where cookers are doing the guards jobs on the security room, that means they operate CCTV Cameras, Remote Doors, etc. And guards in there won't do anything than stay on the room kind of "patrolling" (I didn't put any patrols there), also cookers would move dead bodies to the ambulance too. So, i'm going to upload a photo and my save file with this happening, in the save file i have mods enabled but when i built the prison i didn't have any mods yet, so that can't be the problem. Anyways, i found out that more people are having this problem, so i'm just going to give a little help here to the devs to see if they can found a fix to this. Thanks.

I have exactly same problem. Have tested everything but still chefs do guards job in the security room. I had one guard in the room stationary and not stationary, multiply guards and even patrolling guard front of the cctv monitor. Nothing worked until I hired chef directly in the security room. It worked for a minute and then chef realised he is a chef and belongs to kitchen. Would be great if you could fix this, because now cctv cameras, cctv monitors, phone tab and door control system are useless. Thank you for advance! P. S. I didn't use mods. The problem is in normal play and multiplayer.

Well, same here. I can't fix this even if i want to because i know nothing about code xD, but i think is the creator, idk he has a name in orange on a steam thread that i did about the same problem, told me to post the problem here and upload the save file, hope this helps them.

Thanks for uploading the savefile!

In your post, you mention that you have mods enabled - although you did not have any when you created the prison. Can you tell us what mods you have installed at the moment?
 
Here is my savefile. Hope it helps too. Did not have any mods on when playing and still chefs doing guards works.
I have another prison what Im building where I use mods like [No Desk Security Room, CCTV Camera Arrows, Real-time Basketball, Chinook, Stock Sprite Fix (obsolete) and Simple Garden Mod] and there my game works like it should be. No problem with guards and chefs. Thanks for advance!

I noticed when my cctv monitor etc. is in the room which is not set to Security Room cooks can do guards jobs. But if I set that room to be Security Room no one wants to control monitors.
 
I am having the same issue. At first I notice prisoners in there operating the door controls so I set deployment to staff only then my cooks went in there. I have plenty of guards that aren't busy. Today is the first day I've played in a few weeks and this is the 1st time I've noticed it. I am new here so I can't post a link to my prison on the workshop.
 
I have the same issue, only my workers also don't pick up boxes left in my prison and take them to the storage. Cooks also dump any carrier garbage bags to the bin areas. Cooks are also working in security rooms so I had to remove all CCTV. I've only just started working on this prison aswell :(



Ok so really weird. But while typing this up I thought id go check on my prison so I loaded up the game and everything is working fine. So I don't know \_(^_^)_/

    I don't know when the next patch will come out for the game, hopefully not too long.

    • I'm having this problem too. It's highly ANNOYING and making the game totally unplayable.
    I've had this game since its Introversion days, and I must say, bugs were always fixed pretty quickly back then and there was nothing that broke the game like this. Paradox has really failed us.... not buying anything more from them until this issue is fixed - how many months has it been since it was first reported?!!
