I had Rome installed on one computer but changed computers. I reinstalled the game (no problem) but how do I transfer the saved games?

The computer doesn´t let me access the subfoldeer where the saved games are kept.

Why not? What happens when you try? Most likely you need admin access .

It is windows 7; I am the administrator, so I should have access. When I search for the files, I get C:/usuarios/PeterGoossens/appdata/....... However, when I look (with explorer) into the folder ...../PeterGoossens/ I do,not see a subfolder called appdata (or the spanish equivalent). So it must be hidden.

Aren't save files saved in EU:R's directory ?
I'm not sure about other versions, but Steam's are kept in "\europa universalis rome\save games"

Also, you don't see the AppData folder because it is hidden, go to Tools -> Folder options -> View tab, and check "show hidden files [...]". Then you'll see that folder, but it has nothing to do with your save game files.
