maybe not a bug but a flaw: I noticed that my fleets regularly run out of fuel on their missions and crawl back to base. they don't carry their missions out for long so i guess that fuel consumption is either too high or their stockpile too low. If they returned to base sooner so they don't run out of fuel their mission times would be even shorter, spending most of their time between base and target area

When Germany declares war on Syria and Lebanon, Vichy joines allies but doesn't join war against Germany. In such case I have an allied member right next to my border which I am not at war with. If you wish I can post a screenshot or upload savegame.

Looks to me like USA is not researching marines. It's 1943 right now and they still have Marines'35 and they stopped researching after Improvised Landing Craft and Marine Unit Organisation in doctrines tab.

Is there a peace treaty between VIC and GER? Historical game or lots of ahistorical choices in events?

Everything was historical untill:

- After fall of france paratroop assault on Gibraltar
- Paratroop assault on Malta from Yugo
- Invasion in Alexandria followed with conquest of middle east
- Then I DoWed Syria and Lebanon while I was entering Iraq

Those 2 countries were puppets of Vichy and she joined allies but stay neutral vs. Germany.
To my surprise after I reloaded previous savegame and repeated my moves vichy stayed completely neutral.

Oh and no more screenshots or savegames. deleted sorry

I've got a feeling that some countries don't mobilise properly when they get released as puppets. As Germany I annexed and/or released Ukraine, Belarus, Finland, Sweden, Norway etc. All those newly released countries produce way less (1-3) divisions then Slovakia (15) and Croatia (10) which got was never annexed and released. And they had plenty of time to build units.

Don't you think some events should stop after sealion. Britain is still recieving emergency convoys from commonwealth. And some AI events: Naval Norway Pacific and Naval Channel Protect Pacific. (Norway is axis and english channel is my inner sea)

unfortunetly I overwrote the savegame, but I promise to reload previous game and try to reproduce problem.

yes british islands are conquered. England is down to under 40IC. India, Pakistan Birma released and puppeted. British capitol is somewhere in middle africa, and UK is still recieving those emergency freighters from commonwealth coutries.

During invasion of america - USA AI fired: Home Defence - thats good I suppose. But I already conquered Florida and I'm moving trough Georgia while USA fires some Invasion AI on Salomon and Gilbert Islands. Shouldn't they focus on home defence - they are rushing divisions to defend nicely and very fast, but they got no navy to speak of (under 40, no capitals) so why they think about invasions?

I´ll check on that, the Home Defence should override all else.

Playing as Germany I noticed that after "Grenadier Division Wallonien" event appears a new leader Léon Degrelle, problem is that there already is one Léon Degrelle (winter specialist, defencive doctrine). The "new" Degrelle has no leader skills.

I encounter a strange bug, when i install Core and try to start it, my Tec tree and my events look like this:

Core bug2.jpg

the checksum is NSHC

I started with a normal AOD 1.08 installation Checksum SUBR, copied it and renamed the folder "Core"
I installed the basic Core-Version 0.60 (not the one with the graphics) into that folder, afterwards i used the quickfix

the result is what i posted above
I also have tried:
-not using the quickfix
-1.07 base AOD version
-CORE 0.60 with graphics
-Running Core in Admin Mode, compatibility mode, different computer

Nothing seems to work, thats why i am trying it here, since it seems to be a bug.

If i am just stupid, and am doing it wrong, pls delete this post and PM me.

Thanks in advance.

The CORE mod is english only, the majority of new events is not translated (way too much work). It should always be installed with graphics to have at least a basic set of CORE'd div/bde images. If you want to play vanilla AoD as well you'd better copy your current AoD installation into a new folder, some nationalized ship icons (silhouettes) are added which may result in an improper look for some vanilla AoD ship classes.

erm, no idea if this is the right place to report stuff. tried the file that Tegethoff sent me.

you should maybe re-think the divisions which are fixed (ie not movable). i loaded up as the USA and ai used both MacArthur and Marshall for these units - and if i understood things right they will stay there for he whole game (means that some of the best US leaders will never show up outside the US).
i have 1941 as a start date for MacArthur, btw and deleted him in PHI (together with Wainwright).

you can remove the leader from a fixed unit just fine, i think

Meanwhile on another continent:
I played Ger recently and an event couped Austria some time before Anschluss. So i inherited the realms of Austria but the were rebellious. Then another event fired smth like "Reichstag". I picked the option to integrate Austrian provinces b/c it said "xyz is considered a national province". Well, after that event the former Austrian provinces were even more rebellious and were not quite national German provinces.
Suffice to say I released Austria to spare me the pain of an ineffective south but I think thats not as intended. Might as well restart the game if you event-coup Austria

The event chain is somewhat complicated. If you always chose the first options (which are the ones that were historically chosen) esp. the "Reichsparteitag"-events, then you should have no problem of getting the Anschluss and inheriting all Austrian provinces.

i know that. i was talking about when the US is ai controlled. AFAIK these units get removed for the human player anyway.
